    And why not? It's cheaper, more fun, almost always a "no brainer" as far as deciding if you should or shouldn't buy it, and way more original. Beats buying the same Target outfit that everyone else has.
    Recycling fashion, recycling old finds into new treasures, the new creative way to shop and explore fashion trends.  Why pay full price when you can hunt and create some fantastic and unique outfits on your own.  But you must have time to explore, research online, drive around to be fully successful.
    "The thrill of the hunt" must be your mantra as you prepare to dig and look and scour over and through troves and racks and bins of "used things".  But after that long and sometimes perilous journey,  when you come up triumphant with a complete gem out of nowhere, it makes it all worth it.  The kind of find that makes you want to text all your friends, post on FB is really unbeatable!

Simple & Sophisticated Stamping

   With all the proud moms I know, myself being one, I had to check out  "stamping".  So I now own a cute little set of ABC's. With that, I love to make sweet little medallions for new moms, for grandmothers, teachers, etc. This is one I just made for my sister to wear with her precious newborn's  name on it.  Kisses!

Daring Drusy

  I have found my new love.. DRUSY!  I just love this stone! It comes in all different shapes & colors, and each one is unique and different. And they go with everything, from summer maxi dresses to jeans and strappy tshirts!
  Here are 2 of my latest designs. I like to keep the design around them simple, since they speak for themselves! 

Stars, stripes and sparkling Spring

What goes better with the popping colors of spring blooms then champagne? Ok, champagne goes with everything anywhere for any reason! I just like the idea of a sparkling glass, alfresco, and while thinking about shopping!

Truly a classic spring must have are stripes and whites. Thin or wide stripes look great on everyone.

Yellows, poppy red, grass green and cobalt blue, beautiful colors that make you happy to wear. I am in desperate search for a cropped white blazer, a universal piece that will look great with anything! When I find the perfect one, I won't keep it a secret.

And every girls favorite spring staple: big sunnies!!! I bought my new faves at Walgreens! Who knew they were so fashion forward and only $10?!

Spring means it's time to wake up, get out, jump back into life, friends and fun!! So grab your glass of prosecco and cheer to Spring 2012!

Finally catching up: February 2012

Wow! I have really been taking a vacation from my blog! Time always seems to get in the way!
But I vow to try to be better!
Because I am in the mood for Spring!!! I want sunshine and 70's... is that so much to ask?
True, it's been a mild winter, but I am still ready to get rid of my winter jackets!

Bold colors, emerald green, violets, yellows, cobalt blue! Love them! Time to feel alive with color.

Thinking of how summer used to be something so anticipated, so intoxicating, so fantastical... the time to relax, be yourself, and do whatever you wanted! And why should that be any different from age 9 to age whatever?

It's summer 2010: invite over the people you adore or don't see enough of, go explore that place in the mountains you always wanted to go, be free!

Oh and of course when it comes to clothes, try something new! A new color, a new style, a tighter fit, go all white with a vibrant splash of color!
